What Sets Us Apart

Unlike other fried pie businesses that rely on standard molds and mixtures that pump out gel-like fillings and rectangular pies, we are 100% committed to making pies that look and taste handmade. Our facility is stocked with customized equipment and top quality ingredients so the pies look hand-shaped and taste like they were crafted with love and care. When you bite into our pies, it’s not obvious that we make thousands of these a day. What you taste is quality, not quantity.

Fried Pies Draw People In

Hand pies are a Southern tradition. They have been served for generations at tables set with fine dinnerware and tables set with paper plates. These pies are a part of our heritage, and they are sure to bring a nostalgic smile to anyone's face as they recall memories of family gatherings and stories of yesteryear. We have found that the smells and flavors of these pies can help return sweet memories long forgotten or misplaced. They are like magnets, drawing people in, putting smiles on faces and sparking conversations. We’ve seen it time and time again: when we’re at events, people hunt us down to eat our pies and share their stories. We don’t have to work to sell these — they sell themselves.

Dress 'Em Up, Dress 'Em Down

Southern fried (or baked!) pies can be classy or casual.

These pies can be plated beautifully at a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant. In fact, they are a wonderful finish to any menu that highlights the unique cultural identity of the region.

They can be served in a paper sleeve alongside a local brew. One hand for the pie, one hand for the beer. Coincidence? Doubtful. :) The peach pies can pair really well with sours and witbiers and lambics and some English old ales and barleywines. The apple with amber ales and apricot ales and boozy/whiskey-ish winter ales and some German wheat ales. The lemon with saisons and wild ales. The chocolate and coconut with roasty porters and stouts, especially coffee stouts, and some Dopplebocks and Belgian strong dark ales.

In coffee houses, the chocolate and coconut pies pair really well with a warm cup of coffee.

In cafés, the pies can be halved and mixed with milk and vanilla ice cream to set your milkshakes apart from the others in town.

The pies are also a wonderful finish to a plate of bbq. We've found the most popular pies for bbq establishments to be peach, coconut, and chocolate.

We've kept the ingredients simple so that anyone, from fine dining to checkered tablecloth, can offer their patrons a quality Southern favorite.

Drop 'Em in the Fryer

Once the oil has reached 350 degrees, you can drop the frozen pies in and let 'em cook for 3:30 to 5 minutes. You can use an egg white wash to brown pies.

Don't Want to Fuss with the Fryer?

You can bake the frozen pies at 450 degrees for 6-7 minutes, or for 6 minutes at 475 degrees to brown them.

Naked, Dusted, Glazed…

These pies can be served in many different ways. Straight from the fryer or oven. Dusted with powdered sugar. Glazed. In a milkshake. Alongside a scoop of ice cream. Topped with a drizzle of caramel or rum sauce. There are so many possibilities…
